Terms of Use

Addicted to Travel is currently free to use. Rights that cannot legally be waived continue to apply.

Addicted to Travel is an intelligent, collaborative travel-planning workspace. It helps travelers describe a trip, generate a First Draft itinerary, edit and schedule activities, save ideas, use maps and place information, express Traveler Preferences, collaborate with other travelers, and receive AI-assisted recommendations, WHY explanations, trade-off information, and Trip Check results.

Addicted to Travel is not a travel agency, tour operator, booking marketplace, booking provider, carrier, accommodation provider, activity provider, insurer, emergency service, or professional adviser. It does not currently sell or manage flights, hotels, activities, packages, insurance, or other travel products.

You must be at least 16 years old and legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use Addicted to Travel for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization.

You may begin creating a trip without an account. Guest trips may depend on the same browser, device, or guest session and may be less durable or recoverable than trips saved to an account. Do not rely on a guest trip as the only copy of important travel information.

When you create an account, you must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Where available, you may transfer a guest trip to a registered account. You are responsible for checking that you are claiming the intended trip.

A trip may have an organizer and one or more invited travelers. An organizer or another authorized person may set permissions, including whether a traveler Can contribute or Can edit. Each collaborator is responsible for actions taken through their access.

A valid shareable invitation link may allow someone to join a trip according to the link’s permissions. Protect invitation links and share them only with people you intend to invite.

Information in a collaborative trip may be visible to current and future authorized travelers. This can include itinerary content, Traveler Preferences intended for the trip, Who’s going and attendance, priorities, and actions contributed by collaborators.

Do not add another person’s personal or sensitive information unless you have their permission and it is appropriate for the shared trip.

An organizer may change permissions or remove access. This cannot retrieve information that someone already copied, exported, or remembered. Collaborators may change shared content within their permissions, so keep a separate copy of information that is important to you.

You keep ownership of content you submit to Addicted to Travel. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, limited license to host, copy, process, transmit, display, and adapt that content as needed to:

• operate, secure, maintain, and improve Addicted to Travel;
• provide the features you request;
• follow your sharing and collaboration instructions;
• provide support; and
• comply with law and enforce these Terms.

This license ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to content retained in collaborative trips, normal backup cycles, and information kept for legal or security reasons.

You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit your content. Do not submit unlawful content, malware, confidential information you are not authorized to share, or another person’s sensitive information without permission.

Addicted to Travel uses AI and other automated systems to generate and review travel-planning information. AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, unavailable, biased, or unsuitable for you or your companions. It may misidentify a real place or describe something that does not exist.

AI advises; the traveler decides. AI-generated information does not automatically modify your itinerary unless you deliberately choose an available action. You decide what to accept, edit, schedule, lock, mark Booked, or ignore.

A WHY explanation describes why the system considers a suggestion relevant to the information available to it. It is not proof that the recommendation or its underlying facts are correct.

Trip Check is advisory. It may identify possible issues involving timing, geography, opening hours, workload, preferences, or suitability and may suggest changes.

Trip Check does not guarantee that an itinerary is safe, feasible, legal, open, available, accessible, suitable, complete, or correct. A result indicating that no issue was found means only that the checks performed did not identify a covered issue. It does not mean that every relevant issue was checked.

Opening hours, addresses, locations, maps, travel times, attraction details, schedules, availability-related information, local conditions, and recommendations may come from third-party sources or automated processing. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, or change without notice.

Before relying on important information, verify it with the venue, carrier, government, map provider, or another authoritative source.

You are responsible for checking entry and visa requirements, health requirements, safety conditions, accessibility, weather, local laws, insurance, transportation, reservations, prices, and whether an activity is suitable for you and your companions. Seek qualified professional advice where needed and contact local emergency services in an emergency.

You may mark an activity as Booked to represent your own planning status. This label does not mean that Addicted to Travel made, confirmed, verified, guaranteed, paid for, manages, or can change or cancel the booking.

The confirmation and terms issued by the actual travel or activity provider control your booking.

Addicted to Travel may display maps, place data, links, opening hours, and other information supplied by third parties. Third parties control their own services, information, availability, and terms.

A link, listing, or recommendation is not an endorsement. Your use of a third-party service may be governed by that party’s terms and privacy policy. We are not responsible for third-party services, transactions, conduct, cancellations, or refunds.

You may not use Addicted to Travel to:

• break the law or infringe another person’s rights;
• harass, exploit, deceive, impersonate, or endanger anyone;
• facilitate trafficking, exploitation, unlawful border crossing, or another serious offense;
• upload malware, send spam, disrupt the service, or bypass access controls or usage limits;
• probe or test security without authorization;
• scrape, copy, or access the service at scale through automated means without our written permission;
• use an invitation link that you are not authorized to use;
• misrepresent AI output or Trip Check as verified professional, official, or safety advice; or
• use the service to make high-impact eligibility decisions about another person in employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, or a similar area.

The original software, interface, design, and content of Addicted to Travel are protected by intellectual-property laws. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ rights.

Subject to these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use Addicted to Travel for its intended purpose. No other rights are granted by implication.

Addicted to Travel may be unavailable, delayed, or changed. We may add, remove, suspend, or discontinue features and may impose reasonable limits.

We do not promise uninterrupted service, permanent guest access, recovery of every trip, or continued availability of a particular integration, destination, recommendation, or information source.

You may stop using Addicted to Travel at any time and may request account deletion as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, a security risk, a legal obligation, misuse of the service, or harm to users or Addicted to Travel. Where appropriate, we will give notice and a reasonable opportunity to respond.

Sections that by their nature should continue after termination will remain in effect, including sections concerning ownership, disclaimers, liability, disputes, and content retained for lawful purposes.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Addicted to Travel is provided “as is” and “as available.”

We do not guarantee that the service, an itinerary, recommendation, WHY explanation, Trip Check result, map, place information, opening hour, travel time, availability-related information, booking status, or other content will be accurate, complete, current, safe, feasible, legal, accessible, suitable, uninterrupted, or free from errors.

Nothing in these Terms excludes a warranty, right, or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, opportunities, data, travel arrangements, or enjoyment, arising from or related to Addicted to Travel.

We are not responsible for losses caused by relying on AI-generated or third-party travel information without appropriate verification, by the acts of another collaborator, by sharing an invitation link, or by the products or services of a third-party travel provider.

These limitations do not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including where applicable for fraud, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury caused by negligence.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.

The courts of Yerevan, Republic of Armenia will have jurisdiction over disputes arising from these Terms or Addicted to Travel, except where mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Before starting formal proceedings, contact us at support@addictedto.travel so we can try to resolve the issue informally.

We may update these Terms as Addicted to Travel, our practices, or legal requirements change. We will post the updated Terms and provide additional notice when required by law.

If a change requires your consent, continued use alone will not replace that consent.
