Addicted to Travel
Frequently asked questions
A few useful things to know before you start planning.
The product
Addicted to Travel is an intelligent, collaborative travel-planning workspace. It helps you create a First Draft itinerary, shape it over time, save ideas, coordinate with the people traveling with you, and get AI-assisted recommendations and reviews along the way.
An itinerary generator usually treats the generated plan as the finished result. Addicted to Travel treats it as a starting point. You can edit the plan, explore alternatives, express preferences, collaborate, understand the WHY behind recommendations, and use Trip Check to review the itinerary you have built. The AI advises; you decide.
Yes. Addicted to Travel is currently free to use while we continue building and improving the product. We may introduce paid features or plans in the future, but we will be transparent about changes before they affect you.
Yes. We are opening Addicted to Travel to early travelers while we continue improving it. The product will evolve based on what genuinely helps people plan better trips. If you find a problem or see something that could be better, we would love to hear from you.
Planning your trip
Describe your trip in your own words, including what matters to you. Addicted to Travel uses that context to create an initial itinerary. You can then review it, change it, add or remove activities, adjust timing, and keep improving the trip.
Yes. The itinerary is yours to edit. You can add, remove, move, and reschedule activities, change Activity Details, save ideas for later, set priorities, and decide which suggestions to use. Addicted to Travel does not silently apply AI recommendations to your trip.
Trip Check reviews the itinerary you have already created and looks for things worth reconsidering, such as timing, geography, opening hours, preferences, or feasibility where Addicted to Travel can evaluate them. It gives advice and possible improvements; it does not replace your decisions or automatically change the plan.
Booked is a planning status you add to an activity. It helps you represent an existing commitment in the itinerary. Addicted to Travel does not currently make, verify, manage, change, or cancel bookings.
AI recommendations and travel information can be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. Opening hours, travel times, availability, and local conditions can change. Check important details with the venue, provider, government, or another authoritative source before relying on them.
Planning with others
Yes. You can share an invitation link so other travelers can join the trip. Depending on their permission, they can share their Traveler Preferences and attendance, contribute to planning decisions, or edit the shared itinerary.
Can contribute lets a traveler participate in collaborative decisions, including their own preferences and attendance, without changing the shared itinerary. Can edit also lets the traveler make changes to the shared itinerary. Share invitation links only with people you want to give the selected access.
Accounts and privacy
No. You can begin creating a trip as a guest. An account gives you more durable access to saved trips and makes it easier to return to them. Guest access may depend on the same browser or device, so a guest trip may not always be recoverable.
No. The planner works without optional analytics. You can change your choice at any time with the “Privacy” button at the bottom of the page. See our Cookie Policy.
